ROLLER WEEK - RETROSPECTIVE

The roller skate is a fashion object that fascinates ! From the image of the American drive-in waitress gliding from one table to another, to the Saint Laurent Idol with its 10.5-centimeter high heel mounted on three wheels, roller skating continues to be a recurring fantasy in the fashion world.

For the launch of our new offer, we took advantage of the Fashion Week to establish a new event in collaboration with the W Paris - Opéra : la Roller Week !

Who doesn't know the Fashion Week Paris ? 

It is undoubtedly the most glamorous and iconoclastic event among the elite of Fashion Week dthe world: The only moment when fashion dares to do anything and lets its imagination run free, giving birth to the fashion of tomorrow. It is also the moment when French fashion is highlighted, thus combining a savoir-faire traditional and contemporary technology.

Flaneurz has also done its Fashion Week in an equally creative way: in the form of a Roller Week with the W Paris - Opéra, from Wednesday, September 19 to Saturday, September 22.

We have once again collaborated with this prestigious establishment that combines a sumptuous environment with a location close to the major Parisian monuments (previous event ici). Symbol of a back-to-school season full of surprises, the Flaneurz universe has taken over the lounge of W Paris - Opéra from September 10 to September 22, the date of the end of Roller Week.

/FLANEURZ X W PARIS - OPÉRA

 

Faced with theOpéra Garnier, in the heart of a historic district where fashion comes to celebrate its greatest moments of glory, the W Paris-Opéra is the quintessential place of the splendor of Parisian nights. The energy and audacity inspired by this emblem lead us to believe that the era of Gatsby the Magnificent is not so far away.

It is a place that combines Haussmannian style and avant-garde design for a deep reflection, at the very heart of the Fashion Week French. A prestigious collaboration for a unique event, inspired by the success of the launch of our capsule Glitter in last March and of l’afterwork et boutique éphémère of the month of June.

The visual identity of this location harmonizes perfectly with the projet innovant from Flaneurz, which encouraged us once again to present our offre Custom in this iconic place.

Roller Party

On the DJ set of Rayan Nash, many of you come to enjoy our colorful rollers. It is alongside our brand ambassadors, Monsieur et Madame Kool or even the actors in our video “ Own Flaneurz “ Andréa et Ludovic (It’s about LA) that we shared another evening together at the W Paris - Opéra. They were given candies featuring our rollers thanks to the brand Babines. De delicious cocktails allowed you to refresh yourself and take a break while discovering the incredible creations of the Chocolat des Français. We are proud to always be able to offer you an enhanced experience centered around the values of roller skating.

 

Indy ArtWork

Inspired by the 20s to the 70s, the young and talented Indy Artwork was present at W Paris-Opéra. You were able to customize your Flaneurz or sneakers live thanks to the talent of this tattoo artist.

Flaneurz X Faguo

We have chosen to work with Faguo. This French brand has a name of Chinese origin (meaning "France" in Mandarin). Faguo creates collections inspired by the "casual trendy" spirit to modernize and energize your wardrobe. It follows a policy of social and environmental responsibility. For every item sold, a tree is planted in France to reduce its carbon footprint.

You spotted Faguo shoes as part of our launch video for the offer Ready to Roll Custom. 

To offer you an original experience ahead of Fashion Week, we have chosen to give you the chance to win one of the pairs featured in this communication campaign: the Aspenlow ou la Ivy. Pop-Up Store

You were many to come see us, and we were delighted to welcome you, to inform you, and to inspire in you the desire to stroll alongside us! The goal of the Clique is to meet its community and to be attentive to their needs. Our goal is achieved when we see your smiles as you leave our pop-up shop.

 

Workshop

Once again, the two workshops on Wednesday and Saturday evenings allowed you to discover the joys of gliding combined with the art of dance. You became true dancers for the duration of a choreography, alongside Najete Kada, French champion of figure skating.
