Roller skating remains at the heart of Parisian nights! An emblem of the evolution of quads, Flaneurz has organized a Roller Funk Party in partnership with the Ephemeral Point Thursday, February 7.
/THE EPHEMERAL POINT, A PLACE APART
Hybrid place of Parisian culture, the Ephemeral Point is a “dynamic and artistic center” rich in discoveries and unique experiences. This place was born thanks to the Usine Éphémère, an association that invests in abandoned spaces to transform them into living places. The Ephemeral Point supports the creation and the local associative fabric by engaging in multiple artistic, cinematic, and musical adventures. At the border between the 10th and 19th arrondissements of Paris, the Ephemeral Point cultivates both the "popular soul" of the first and the "trendy urban renewal" of the second. Naturally, Flaneurz finds these values there.

A night infused with the spirit of the 70s, roller skates on our feet.
/ Workshop
Starting at 6:00 PM, the approximately forty people registered for the workshop joined us at Point Ephémère with the goal of rediscovering the art of roller dancing. This initiation led by Florian allowed, among others, Pauline to approach skating in an engaging way: “The dance class is a great way to get used to the skates, the workshop is very fun and perfectly suited for beginners.”.
After the Rock at La Recyclerie R’n’B à La Montgolfière, it's the Funk that we have highlighted. You have discovered the universe of JB Skating, inspired by James Brown or again Parliament. This musical movement has been setting the pace for roller dance since the seventies, replicating the movements of Funk.

This Thursday, our ambassadors Poupa, Laurence et Jean-Marc were by your side. Bonds were formed. Like Laure, you let yourselves be swept away by the energy of the seventies: “I love this atmosphere, it’s friendly and the Flaneurz crew is always smiling and available.“.
