Since August 2020, la Flânerie (our premises) has been located in Pantin, Seine-Saint-Denis. It includes our shop, our offices, but above all, our manufacturing workshop..
Our Flaneurz workshop is located at the foot of the Grenoble mountains, in the same premises as the production of Slades. Our teams work there every day to offer you a product that meets your expectations. All detachable rollers are handmade, one by one. Six machines and two hours of work are required for their production. :
/Rolling party assembly: 20 minutes
/Frame creation: 15 minutes
/Shoe transformation: 45 minutes
/Quality control and packaging: 20 minutes
This last part is fundamental. The system is meticulously tested by our team to ensure your safety during your travels, and for smooth clipping and unclipping.
This Flaneurz manufacturing requires precision and attention to detail. The production processes evolve thanks to the feedback from the members of the Clique. Your input is our primary source of evolution.

We are perfecting our know-how around this mechanical interface that allows for the connection of shoes and rolling parts. Our expertise also includes the transformation of shoes. /LA TRANSFORMATION CHAUSSURE
We are often asked if it is possible to offer a "Do It Yourself" kit to transform shoes on your own. The answer is no because modifying the soles requires mastering a specific, delicate technique, and especially specific machines..
The transformation of the shoe involves pre-positioning the location of the female mechanical parts in order to insert the system. This is the most time-consuming step. Each shoe is unique, requiring specific treatment. For example, there may be a difference between the left and right shoe..
This is why not all shoes are compatible with Flaneurz manufacturing. As a reminder, the transformation conditions are as follows:
/New shoes (never worn outside)
/The shoe size must be between European sizes 35 and 46 ⅔
/Flat sole made of rubber material
/Minimum sole thickness: 7mm at the front and 13mm at the back
/Maximum sole thickness: 32mm at the back
/The tread of the sole must not have a thickness of more than 5mm.
/The tongue should allow for an enlarged opening of the shoe to provide access to the internal front part..
