/LONG BEACH

Long Beach offers a relaxing stroll along the beach. With its long bike path, away from the hustle and bustle of the city and in a peaceful paradise. Along the way, you will find Junipero Beach. This beach is a true crossroads that attracts people from all walks of life, from casual strollers to passionate skaters. /​THE STROLL OF VENICE BEACH

Venice Beach is a must-visit destination for those interested in roller culture. It's not just a postcard, but a historic site of 80s roller dance.


First, discover the heart of this neighborhood with the artificial canals inspired by the city of Venice, Italy. Then, strap on your rollerblades. detachable and start your ride at Venice skatepark, a legendary place where you will encounter all styles of practice (park, roller dance…). Make the most of this track cyclable that goes north and ends at the end of Will Rogers State Beach. This scenic walk is the perfect way to discover the beauty of the area. These paths go directly through the beach and the sand, offering a unique experience.


Attention for those who are not used to it, the fine layer of sand on certain parts of the track can make skating at high speeds dangerous.



/​SANTA MONICA TO MANHATTAN BEACH

Start your stroll at Santa Monica Pier, a legendary filming location. Discover the various attractions offered, put on your skates, and glide along thecoast via the bike path. Pass by Venice Beach; if you haven't taken the first suggested route, it's an opportunity to discover the energy that can be found in this neighborhood. At the end of the walk, you will reach Manhattan Beach, an affluent area of Los Angeles County. Many activities can be enjoyed there. like surfing, swimming, or shopping.

Eating a hot dog in Santa Monica, then going surfing at Manhattan Beach, and rollerblading back with a beautiful sunset, sounds like a great plan, right?

Immerse yourself in the wildest roller parties with your Flaneurz and meet at these different roller rinks to showcase your dancing talents.



/FOUNTAIN VALLEY  

A 50-meter-long skating rink is what awaits you at the Fountain Valley Skating Center. It is an iconic roller rink that has been welcoming skaters from various backgrounds for over 40 years.

Located in the South of the city, not far from Huntington Beach, you will be immersed in a blend of cultures between new school skaters and véritables “OG’s”. It is in a very family-oriented spirit that you will enjoy the track.


It is equipped with everything you need to skate and can be reserved for private parties, group events, and roller classes. Just contact the rink on their social media. ( InstagramFacebook). VYou will find the different events on their website with all the details in their calendar. The best evenings for us are those on Sunday as well as Wednesday.

You will also enjoy the facilities between dances: snacks, drinks, pool tables, and arcade games...

We highly recommend you check it out, the FVSC is a must-see for skating enthusiasts in LA.



/SKATE EXPRESS

Skate express is one of the top spots to party on roller skates; it is somewhat out of the way from downtown since it is located in the Chino neighborhood but remains very accessible by car (allow about 30 minutes from downtown Los Angeles). Prices range from 11 to 20 dollars for entry and it is possible to rent your roller skates on site. The atmosphere is different from one evening to another, many DJs offer their style and there is something for everyone! 

Little tip, because we love sharing our good plans: we recommend the adult night sessions on Saturday and Sunday, the atmosphere is better and believe us our experience, you won't regret it. All the information is communicated on their Instagram  as well as on le calendrier via their website.. 



/L.A KINGS BURBANK SPORT CENTER

Why be indoors when you can party while enjoying the beautiful California sun?

The L.A. Kings Burbank Sport Center, primarily used for hockey games, is also known for hosting roller parties. They are majoritairement organisées par des “crew” comme Skate OddityRogue Rollers and​ SK8 Pop Up, you are invited to subscribe to their social media to stay informed about their news.


These events attract a crowd of skating enthusiasts from all walks of life and are a great way to discover the skating scene in Los Angeles. These roller nights feature a variety of themes: disco, retro, gothic, and many more... All you have to do is choose!


Visitors can rent skates on-site or bring their own skates. It’s also an opportunity to meet new friends and enjoy live music and entertainment..


As a bonus, we recommend checking out roller rinks like Moonlight RollerwayHoliday skate center or Mar Vista roller rink ( when there is no hockey game) that are worth the detour.

In addition to being a beautiful walk, it is also a meeting place for the skating community, offering a unique atmosphere for practitioners of all levels. They form a close-knit community that shares its passion for this sport and the laid-back Californian lifestyle. Don't be afraid to approach people; it always makes them happy to expand the roller family!

The Moxi Girls are a group of skaters from Los Angeles based in Long Beach, known for their involvement in promoting the quad roller culture. They organize annual events that bring together hundreds of skaters from all over the city.


Every year, the Moxi Girls organize the "Moxi Skate Camp". This event is a true skating festival, offering an immersive experience for passionate skaters. Bowl skating, dance skating, and many other disciplines are in the spotlight. Discover the latest editions on their channel Youtube.
