This spring, Flaneurz goes towards new horizons for a long quad skate weekend in Bordeaux. Cultural, animated and ferment city, Bordeaux received the Flaneurz new quad skates collection’ launching. From Wednesday 17th to Sunday 20th, Flaneurz showed its new clip on skates models in Bordeaux. A pop-up store in Darwin, l’Éco-système offered to discover Flaneurz’ collection, and purchase pairs. Many “la belle endormie” (the beautiful sleepy) inhabitants came to clip on the "Ready-To-Roll" Collection models for the first time...

 

/WEDNESDAY: DARWIN, L’ÉCO-SYSTÈME AND LES HEURES HEURES

 

On Wednesday, after the pop-up store set-up in Darwin, L’Éco-système we joined the dancers on Les Heures Heureuses lively beat. This event in Bordeaux attracts music and dance passionate during summer evenings. In this wild ambiance, we launch the FARAWAY Spring and Summer collection! At 7:00 pm, workshop subscribers put on their rollerskates. The press (and for example le Bonbon Bordeaux) are invited to try the discipline. They skate with Justine Dubois (Bordeaux Miss), Aurore Bird, My Lovely Blog and other bloggers from the region. This quad skating workshop in Bordeaux is orchestrated by Florian Gravier, and everybody seems happy.

/THURSDAY: OPENING OF THE FLANEURZ POP-UP STORE

First morning went well in Darwin, L’Éco-système, because somebody left the pop-up store with the first new collection sold pair of. He was seduced by the Vans Sk8-Hi Reissue - Delf model, we are looking forward to meet him on roads...

The “savoir-faire” table captivates the most curious, and Flaneurz innovation impressed the people who didn’t know this system. Differents spaces are installed to make you discover or rediscover the Glitter capsule collection, previous seasons collections and the new models. Between FARAWAY collection discovering, trying on, crushes, discussions between different ranges, the second day about quad skate in Bordeaux theme of was busy.

 

/POP-UP STORE FROM FRIDAY TO SATURDAY 

 

Build as an ideal city, Darwin, L’Écosystème gathers music passionates, street artists, passengers, or locals. The space is located in the old Niel barrack, at the Garonne edges. Darwin, L’Éco-système receives quad skate in Bordeaux event, and the Flaneurz clique feels good in this alternative space. Dedicated to economical and responsive development, social entrepreneurship, ecological transition, citizen activism, Darwin, L’Éco-système is innovative.

Caravans installed in the pop-up store allow an immersion for visitors into the four new collection universes.

To continue our “Girondin” weekend, we took part in one of the numerous parties organised by the I.BOAT. Set up in the “Bassins à Flots” area, this old ferry animates the city days and nights: between artistic projects, music and cinema, it became an international cultural reference.

Like Flaneurz Skate Club party which took place at the Aérosol in Paris, Flaneurz had a corner in the entrance of the I.BOAT. You can admire two models of the Spring-Summer 2018 collection. We meet some of you with Vans Port Royal, Dr Martens Cavendish, or Nike Air Force One. And the party continues with one workshop animated by Florian Gravier.

/LAST DAY OF FLANEURZ POP-UP STORE IN DARWIN 

 

Many of you take opportunity of the last occasion to discover quad skate in Bordeaux with Flaneurz. At 3:00 pm, the Onwheelz Roller Party with Roller Bordeaux Moovens and Darwin, L’Éco-système starts. Participants were motivated and they confirm the reference status of Onwheelz French roller party.

Thanks to visitors, to Darwin, L’Éco-système for its welcome, to Les Heures Heureuses of Bordeaux, to the I.BOAT, and to Onwheelz Roller Party. We are pleased with our Bordeaux travel, and for those who could not come, we are organising new events in Paris.

Flaneurz will be at Montparnasse Galeries Lafayette from Thursday 23th to Sunday 26th of May, and from Thursday 13th to Sunday 16th of June, for Mother’s Day and for Father Days. More informations here.
